We’re proud to announce a new addition to the RAD family: The V-RAD Select electric torque wrench, developed to fill a void in the high capacity electric torque wrench market between high-end servo powered electric wrenches and inaccurate basic clutch style electric wrenches.
The new V-RAD select series torque wrenches are digitally controlled, enabling the tool operator to set the torque directly on the LED screen in 10-foot pound (ft/lbs) or newton meter (NM) increments. The tool has a calibrated accuracy of +/- 5% and torque repeatability of +/- 2%.
These new torque tools are lightweight, compact, and very easy to operate. Most importantly, they are very cost effective for all that they offer to the customer. Currently there are 4 models available on the market in ¾” and 1” drives with the torque ranges from 250-3000 ft/lbs. (500-4000NM).
The V-Rad Select electric torque wrench comes in two available platforms: one with a digital display, the other with an easy-to-use screen.
Each wrench includes a reaction arm, two batteries, a charger, retaining ring, storage case and operations manual, as well as a calibration certificate with ISO 17025 accreditation.
They are useful tools for environments where compressed air is not an option. Markets for this wrench include bridge maintenance and construction, heavy equipment maintenance, power plant work and other industrial applications.
